Admin Suite changes password on group assignment

Admin Suite 2.4.1According to the documentation (3.1.1--Groups), I should be able to right-click in the members field of a group and add users to that group. When I did that, it changed the password for each of those members. I don't know what it changed it to, but it wasn't what had been set. This was verified by looking at the data in the table on the server. When I added users, they were fine, each with its own password. After adding the users to a group (from the groups tab), all passwords were changed, and all identical. (Setting the user's group from the users tab works without incident.)
